Long time no see, Lovers~!

As nice as it is to see you again, I think it's best I cut down the fluff and give it to you straight...

...The game is... NOT CANCELLED!

That's right! Despite development being stalled for about a year and a half, I'm glad (yet admittedly surprised) to say that Under(Her)Tail: Love & Lust is still ongoing!

Now, I can already picture what you're thinking; "But, if that's the case, then why have you been so silent? What's been going on behind the curtains?"

While several factors have been clashing with each other, the following 2 issues are the main reasons development has stalled.

Firstly, the original lead on this project has sadly lost interest in it's new direction, and is moving on to other projects. That's right Lovers, we're under New Management! However, most of the development team is still with us, and still ready to make this game a reality! We still have almost all of the same assets, though due to the new vision for the game, some of them may simply not see themselves in the game.

Secondly, while plenty of our developers have been more than willing to lend a hand in their side of the project, programming has been rather tough on our single active programmer. In the words of this overworked code goblin: "Coding boobs is hard when you have a job, career advancement, and other hobbies you want to do." While some members already in the development team are planning on joining the coding team to get things going again, it still might not be enough! So, in a couple weeks, we'll be giving announcements for open positions to our team! Thank you all for being so patient with us. Or, if you weren't very patient with us, we understand!

None of us planned to go on such a long, unofficial hiatus like this. But, with our batteries fully charged, we're ready to tackle development once again!
